This weeks question-who is your favorite "new-to-you" author?
My favorite new-to-me author has been around a long time, Octavia E.Butler. She's a black, female, science fiction author, making her rather unique in the science fiction world. So far I've read and reviewed The Fledgling, Wild Seed, and Mind of My Mind for my adult blog, Book Addict Reviews.

I would love to read something by Octavia Butler, as I love SF and dystopia. But my library doesn't have her books - and at the moment I'm not buying any books, either! She'll have to be on my long TBR for a little longer, I think. But what I hear, her books are really good!

I have only read KINDRED. Loved it. You make me want to get these 2 books immediately. I am so sorry we lost her. At least, she wrote quite a bit and that is still with us.

Bibliophiliac-yes, I'm starting to think about school. I'm vacationing this week in Michicagn, but then it's back into my room to start organizing and getting ready. I brought 10 books with me for six days, so I too am starting to get nervouse about losing reading time.
