This read-a-thon is being hosted by Kate at The Neverending Shelf from Monday, April 5 through Sunday April 11. It happens to be perfect for me, because I am on spring break this coming week-the exact length of the read-a-thon. I plan to read at least 40 hours between Monday and Sunday, but it could easily become more. I am behind on my goal towards reading 100+ books this year, so I'm using my time off as a catch-up, and this will motivate me even more. Here's what I am planning to read:
Orange is Not the Only Fruit-Jeanette Winterson
Wolf Hall-Hilary Mantel
The Lacuna-Barbara Kingsolver
Savage Lands-Clare Clark
I Love You Beth Cooper-Larry Doyle
The Way Things Look to Me-Roopa Farooki
Most of these titles are from the long list for this year's Orange Prize. I'm trying to read as many of them as I can before the prize is announced. You can find the list and information about the prize at The Orange Prize for Fiction.
Check back on April 11 to see how I did. And go to The Neverending Shelf to join yourself.
